What country are you from?

Another exciting conversation with an elderly lady today behind the bank ( I really ought to try another route to the office ). It basically began with how bad the weather was and what the "foreigners" thought of our weather. Then the question came where was I from? "Navan", I replied, she said "yeah, but what country are you from?"

Pale skin, freckles, Irish accent - Where could I possibly be from?
