Received my first parking violation yesterday (First of many I guess, I'm only driving about 4 years). Not that I'm annoyed over it, it was deserved (I was parked in a loading bay outside my office - c'mon everyone does it). But the thing I find amusing is the Parking Attendant, like myself this man is by no means slim. But how he managed to disappear without a trace in such a short period of time is amazing. Trims a small place maybe theres only 3 car parks and 3 streets withing the town itself - I should of easily been able to catch up and at least get my parking fines worth out of him by venting a little bit of steam.

My sympathy. I got one on Tuesday. GBP60 if I pay within 2 weeks, GBP120 if I am late. I was on a single yellow - its a fair cop guv - so all I could do was smile and cough up.
